Have you seen the May issue of O Magazine? The cover is beautiful! there's something about the way Oprah is blowing the bubbles. It's like she is looking right at you, following you with her eyes, and blessing you at the same time. No kidding.
When my copy arrived in the mail, I said, "Wow, that's pretty", and laid it on the counter. But every time I passed it, I felt as if I was being blessed... I can't explain it. I'll tell you what I did. I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased (at 50% off) a beautiful 8 X 10 picture frame. That's right. I framed the cover of the May edition of O Magazine. I have this thing about everything having a place. When something touches me like that, I find a place for it in my life.
So, now I have my "picture of blessings" sitting across from me on the bookself in my office. Everytime I glance at it, I feel she's saying, "I see your work. Keep it up." I can feel the positive energy in the room. I'm glad I took the time to follow my Spirit. Now, I have a nice addition to my office.

That is VERY interesting to see that I am not the only one who does that! I have an old Ebony Magazine.. (the giant ones).. it is from 1974 and it has a tall ebony sista on the front with asian inspired outfit on.. she appears to be a model. I found the magazine at a Garage sale and it was soo inspiring to me because I am a photographer and also have a nack for designing clothes. I took the WHOLE mag. and made a frame for it and it's in my office.. right across from my desk and it's also my constant reminder that it is never to late to fulfill my dreams!
By the way.. I will be featuring some of my photography in my first Art Show on Next Saturday! (4/25) I am soo excited, nervous and frightened all at the same time. ***** any and all prayers and best wishes are much appreciated**** LOL!
